"Black?" She evidently had no idea how huge a compliment he'd given her.

"I see sex in colors, and red has always been the color I see during sex. The deeper the red, the more intense the orgasm." He pushed several damp strands of her hair away from her face. "But I've never gone beyond red. Black is the most powerful sensual color. Black absorbs all other colors, and within the power of black lies the ultimate orgasm. I don't know about you, but I'd say that I experienced black tonight."

"You've given new meaning to 'the black moment.' " She allowed him to help her to her feet and then quickly dressed. Once finished, she picked up her flashlight and then turned to him. "As incredible as you were, I do have one complaint."

He slipped on his coat before clasping her hand. "Let me have it."

She reached up to straighten the collar of his coat. "My eager fingers never got anywhere near your wonderful ass. I had to hang on to your shoulders the whole time to keep from shattering into a million sex-charged particles. Hate to say it, Davis, but you owe me your butt cheeks. Soon."

He laughed, and for this moment, with this woman, everything was right in his world.

"Count on it."

As Thrain started to lead her from the cemetery, Cindy paused. "You know, I got so carried away with everything that I forgot to mention something. From the moment we kissed, I had this strange feeling that I wasn't alone, that someone was in my mind." She cast him a suspicious glance. "It wasn't you, was it?"

"No." Thrain narrowed his gaze as he swept the area with his mind, searching for the one who would dare interfere… He stilled when he located the one he was looking for, then he relaxed.
